The illustrious Blackwell family cannot seem to stay out of the headlines. Always involved in one scandal to the next, Robert Blackwell has tried to keep his sons together and in line with the law. But, his recent death has rocked the family harder than imaginable.

The eldest son, Charles “Charley” Blackwell, has been the closest thing to the rock of the family. Quiet and reserved, Charley always seems to have the right thing to say at the right time. A professional schmoozer, he has worked his way to the top tiers of Wall Street. His wife Amanda, the only daughter of the great Albert Fischer, provided him with the financial backing needed to create the dominating company Blackwell Enterprises what it is today. But, their marriage is less than happy.

Marching to beat of his own drum, Benjamin “Ben” Blackwell has never let his father run his life. Having just started his residency at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Hospital in the Gynecology ward, he found his soul mate in Isaac Gardner, a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. Defying everything his father expected of him, Ben found his own happiness, and has no intentions of that being taken away. 

Adam “Ace” Blackwell is certainly one of a kind. Charming, good looking, talented and intelligent, Adam could have given less than two shits about school. He played sports here and there to pass the time, but never was really dedicated to anything in particular. He discovered the art of geometry and buildings his sophomore year of high school and decided to further his education. A recent graduate of the architectural engineering program at Cornell University, Ace’s eyes have been set on his prize. But, even his father thinks that he’s allowing his childhood friend, Elly Howell, to distract him from his goal.

Being fourth in line to his older brothers, Alexander “Xander” Blackwell has never really felt like he had a place in the family. Trying out different things and trying to find his niche, he found a kindred spirit in Belle Richards. Pulling him out of his shell and introducing him to new things, they try out all new things, from pottery to archery, trying to find their place in the world.

Kale Blackwell has always been held in high esteem. Being the youngest, he was dubbed “Kid.” Though a sports hero and captain of the soccer team, Kale has never done well in school, allowing his looks and charm to make his grades for him. Following in his father’s footsteps, he began a relationship with the heiress Thomas empire, Dinah Thomas, climbing the social ladder in hopes of becoming something even more than a son of Robert Blackwell - someone known for himself.
